NAGPUR NEWS : Distinguished swimmer Divya Pillai from Nagpur has once again delivered an inspiring performance, securing one gold and two silver medals at the 26th State Level Masters Aquatic Championship 2025, held in Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) on September 13 and 14, 2025.
At the championship, Divya clinched gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle, followed by silver medals in the 200-meter freestyle and 100-meter freestyle events, showcasing her versatility and stamina across categories.
Having been associated with swimming since childhood, Divya rejuvenated her passion for the sport after retirement from WCL and has since emerged as a formidable name in competitive swimming. Her achievements stand as a source of inspiration for aspiring swimmers who wish to pursue the sport professionally.
Over the past few years, Divya has consistently proven her talent. During 2024, she won one gold and two silver medals in different categories of swimming at the state level swimming championship held at Nagpur. She won 3 Gold and 1 Silver medals, in year 2023, in various competitions at Kolhapur. In the same year she won one silver medal and two bronze medals at the National level Swimming Competition at Indore.
Divya represents the Shark Aquatic Sporting Association and trains under the expert guidance of coach Shri Sanjay Batve.
