L M H are 1st Runner while G M C Nagpur team are 2nd runners.
Nagpur News : A Total of 9 Teams of Vidarbha keenly contested Late Dr Nilima Pawade Memorial Inter Collegiate Ophthalmic Quiz 2024 organised by Ophthalmological Society Nagpur (O S N) on Sunday 25th February 2024 at IMA’s Dr Usha Hardas Multiutility Hall.
The team of Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College Nagpur represented by Dr Akhilesh Rathod, Dr Divisha Jain &. Dr Sanskruti Jadhav scored highest points and were declared Winners while L M H Team comprising Dr Piyush Nehete, Dr Prachi Bang, Dr Shobhita Kavuru were 1st Runner up while G M C Nagpur represented by Dr Vaishnavi Awachat, Dr. Sayali Suradkar and Dr Aditi Nangare were 2nd runners.
The Participating teams had three PG students each from GMC, IGMC, LMH, AIIMS, Mahatme Eye Institute all from Nagpur and PDMC Amravati MGIMS Sevagram, Vasantrao Naik GMC, Yavatmal, GMC, Akola.
The prize distribution of trophies and Certificates was done at the hands of Dr. Milind Pawade, who had started the Post Graduate Inter Collegiate Quiz since last 24 years in memory of his wife Late Dr. Nilima Pawade a well-known Ophthalmologist.
The Quiz Masters were Dr. Shadab Khan, Dr Varda Gokhale, who conducted the different rounds efficiently. Dr Sameer Gade & Dr Aditya Deo, were the Time Keepers and Coordinator respectively. Dr Harshada Khandrani and Dr Pallak Kusumgar were the Scorers.
Dr Nikita Vyavhare, President OSN, made welcome speech while Dr Pallak Kusumgar, Hon. Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks.
Number of members OSN and Post Graduate Ophthalmology students from the participating Institutions attended the quiz and cheered the participants and made the quiz a grand success. Prominently present were Dr Anand Pangarkar, Dr Viral Shah, Dr Rajesh Joshi, Dr Rekha Khandelwal, Dr Neha Deshpande, Dr Shamik Mokadam, Dr Rafat Khan etc.
