Drop-in COVID-19 cases, Nagpur district reports 2876 cases, 10 death
NAGPUR NEWS : Nagpur district on Saturday witnessed a drop in daily cases. The district reported 2876 fresh COVID-19 cases with 10 deaths in the last 24 hours. From the total deaths, Nagpur city recorded the highest number of death as in a day six deaths were reported in the city while three belonged to the rural area. Only one death was from outside of the district.
With 3842 persons recovered from the dreaded virus, the district reported more recoveries than positive cases for the third consecutive day.
The cumulative recovery now stands at 5,19,980. With good recoveries, the recovery rate moves up to 93.76%, while the number of active cases drops to 24,361.
With 2876 persons testing positive for coronavirus in district the cumulative cases increased to 554563. Of the total positive cases, Nagpur city reported a drop in cases with 1981 cases from 2054 cases recorded on Friday. In Nagpur rural 782 persons were tested positive for virus. 113 persons testing positive are not the residents of Nagpur district.
