New Delhi news : The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on Friday paid ₹7,324.34 crore dividend to the Centre. CEO and MD R. Doraiswamy presented the cheque to Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as the government of India’s share of the dividend approved by the shareholders at the annual general meeting held on August 26, LIC said.
Secretary to the Department of Financial Services Nagaraju M was among those present.
